-- THE QUARANTINE SHRINE --

Well guys, it's finally here! Welcome to my humble attempt at a shrine hailing my favourite boys on the planet, QUARANTINE.

For the uninitiated, Quarantine was comprised of four wonderfully talented (and unreal) guys - Muddy (vox), Mark (guitar/vox), Dave (stud/drums) and John (bass).

The band originated in Melbourne in 2000, and played at numerous venues in Melbourne, Ballarat andTraralgon. We were forturnate to have them playing every single week at 21 Arms, Ballarat until they went their seperate ways in September 2002.

The boys were a cover band, who played heaps of indie rock, punk, metal and pop, with a playlist comprising of bands such as Sum 41 (my FAVES!), Creed, Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Metallica, Grinspoon, Eminem, plus heaps more (unfortunately 'heaps more' included bloody DJ Otzi. Sigh. I think the guys should have learned some Red Hot Chili Peppers and Superheist!)

My obsession with Quarantine began shortly after a certain boyfriend broke up with me and I went out and got absolutely hammered in January 2002.

I've loved the boys ever since, and I was spending the best part of my Saturday night glued to the podium, drooling at Dave, making faces at Mark, and yelling various song titles at Muddy (usually to the flavour of Sum 41).

I own a Quarantine T-shirt (which I played netball in every week), and even travelled to Melbourne to catch them playing at the Grand Hotel, Essendon.

I hope you enjoy my little shrine to my favourite boys in the world (apart from Bad Boy Bennito and a certain boy that works at Target).
